Valerie has extensive experience handling insurance coverage disputes under various types of insurance policies, including commercial general liability, professional, homeowners and environmental policies. Valerie also has represented small to mid-size businesses in a range of commercial disputes, including contract claims, collection actions, consumer fraud claims, construction defect claims and personal injury/property damage claims.
She is a frequent recipient of court appointments in a variety of matters, including allocation of settlemments and serving as guardian ad litem for minors and alleged incapacitated indiviuals.
Valerie is also a trustee of the Bergen County Bar Association and President of its Women's Lawyer's Section.
Valerie attended Montclair State University and received her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. She served as a law clerk for the Honorable James J. Petrella, Presiding Judge of the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey.
